A calm, personalised approach to helping you restore balance, movement and wellbeing.
Hi, I’m James, founder of Back2Balance Therapy.
I provide hands-on treatment and structured care plans to help reduce pain, improve alignment and support long-term health. My approach focuses on treating the body as a whole — not just the symptoms — and helping you understand how your body works.
James holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science and Sports Coaching since 2011 and has worked in the industry for over 14 years. During this time, he has supported a wide range of clients — from those seeking relief from persistent pain and improved everyday function, to active and performance-focused individuals.
His work focuses on helping clients restore better movement, alignment and balance within the body, allowing them to move more comfortably and confidently in everyday life.
Since qualifying, James has continually expanded his clinical expertise through extensive postgraduate training. This includes Neural Manipulation, specialist treatment for whiplash and impact injuries, and the New Manual Articular Approach covering the upper and lower limbs, spine and pelvis.
In 2010, he qualified in Amatsu Orthopathy under the mentorship of Dennis Bartram and has continued to develop his practice through further training in Ligament Articular Balancing and Amatsu Therapy.
A key part of James’ approach is helping clients better understand their own body and how it functions. He supports individuals through structured self-help strategies, including postural awareness, practical self-help techniques, movement education and reflex-based approaches.
By combining hands-on treatment with education and guidance, James helps clients take an active role in maintaining their own health, movement and long-term wellbeing.
